I am a Nationally Board Certified Teacher and teach first graders at LEADS Primary Charter School, an inquiry-based charter school. This is my 25th year teaching. In the past I have taught all grades from Kindergarten through 3rd, but began my teaching career in 6th grade. I am a first grade teacher at heart, and first grade is where I have spent the majority of my teaching career.
My husband and I have a twenty-year-old son named CJ who is in the Air Force. We also have an almost 14-year-old daughter named Ellie. My most recent personal inquiries are learning how to sail and strength training. Inquiry has changed my life, as well as my teaching!
