Our Busy First Day!

Our first day was filled with learning about the different areas in our school, recess, good read-alouds and marker exploration.

We had Super Hero rotations throughout the school and learned about the expectations in different areas in our building, such as "Flash" in the bus line and "Batman" in the 'Bat'Room (bathroom).

We learned that Batman's superhero power is flushing!

Bennett and Jozlyn brought in crickets for our lizard and we were excited to see him eat them right away!

The kids were definitely tired out by the end of the day.  We spent so much time learning about expectations throughout the school that we didn't get much of a chance to talk about our own classroom and how we want it to be.  This is my least favorite day of the whole school year....first grade is going to be so awesome that I can't wait to share it with your children!
