Nonstandard Measurement
One of our goals in Room 408 this year is to express measure, using an object end-to-end, making sure we don't leave gaps or overlap.
We worked with a partner to measure the length of objects in the classroom, using popsicle sticks. First we estimated, and then we measured everything from bookshelves to ourselves!
