We started reading
Little House in the Big Woods. In the beginning, Ma & Pa smoke their meat in a tree trunk to make it last longer.
We tried smoked meat, too!
Most of us like it!
We also made butter when Ma, Laura, & Mary made butter. We worked pretty hard to shake it up!
Most of us liked that, too!
