Light & Sound Immersion

 Today we began our last big curricular inquiry: Light and Sound. Mrs. Zoll's student teacher, Mrs. Fernandez, will be working with us on this inquiry. We are just starting the Immersion Stage, so our brains are like sponges and we are noticing lots of things about light and sound.

Mrs. Fernandez read a book called Blackout.

It got us thinking about light. Then she played a Menominee drum and reminded us of the first sound we ever heard: our mother's heartbeat. 

Next we explored lots of light and sound materials.
