We earned a full ten frame of BEAK awards! BEAK stands for 'Be Excellent Awesome Kids.'
Each time we get a compliment from another teacher or we read a common classroom goal, we can earn a BEAK award and add a dot to our ten frame.
This time we traded in our ten frame for a trip to the woods!

...we recorded our observations in our Think Books...
We were also really excited to find a "snag" just like Mr. Ocax lives in (a character from our read aloud chapter book).
Maybe someday soon we'll earn another trip to the woods!
