Lately we have been activating our schema (what we think we know) in order to think deeply together. We worked on this while reading The Art Lesson by Tomie DePaola.
As we read the book together, we recorded our thinking by drawing and writing on sticky notes. We activated our schema to help us understand the book more deeply.
