We had a great first conference night. Each student wrote a hope & dream of what they want to do in first grade this year. After reflecting on that hope & dream, they chose materials with which to represent it. Finally, each child created an ipad video to explain their hope & dream and explain their representation/creation. After listening to each child's hope and dream, parents and teacher were able to share their hopes & dreams for their child this first grade year.
Half of the class had their Hopes & Dreams conferences tonight, and I look forward to sharing with the other half on Thursday night!
